Discipline means obedience . It is perfet follow up of necessary and important rules and regulations in our regular and important activities. It is related to self control . It forms the sound character of a person . In a real view discipline means to follow up the ideals set by our elders , noble persons , highly successful great people etc . It is a habbit formation process. It is not merely imitation. Instead it is acquired logically on the basis of formation of conduct and character.

There is a important role of discipline in our life . A disciplined person becomes successful in each and every field if he or she is hard working , too . But , an undisciplined person can hardly succeed even if he or she works hard. The presence of a disciplined person is liked by everyone . Discipline is observed in every field of human life . It is observed at homes , at school, in office, in the playground , in army , in police etc . A disciplined student wins the heart of his/ her all friends and teachers. He/she obeys all the rules and regulations .
As a result, he/she gets success becoming even class topper . According to the research made by experts, almost all highly successful teachers , players ,writer and other personalities are found to have been highly disciplined . Our success depends on our discipline.
Parents , teachers, and elders are the main reason of good and bad discipline of their younger ones . No one wants to be undisciplined but if their elders don't train them to be disciplined, they are likely to be out of control, likewise, to a large extent, the environment is responsible. If people are brought up in good environment , they are sure to be disciplined whereas if they are brought up in bad environment ,they are unlikely to be disciplined .
The management or administration of offices, schools , colleges, universities, etc is also the cause of good or bad discipline of people involved in them . If the management or administration of these place is healthy, people are sure to be disciplined . It is also said that our activities reflect our good upbringing ,culture , training , education etc .
