Diarrhoea and Dehydration Symptoms And Their's Symptoms

 It is a codition of frequent discharge of watery stool. It attacks people in all the age group, though,main victims are children.  Diarrhoea is a normal and easily controllable disease but it has been a major cause of child mortality in developing countries. This disease is caused mainly by Gartner bacillus, Entireties coli. This is transmitted through fecal contamination of water and food items. Flies play main role for contamination as it sits on contaminated stool and brings above-mentioned microoraganism attached on its feet to our food item. In this way they act as mechanical carriers of diarrhoea. Diarrhoea is sometimes caused by indigestion of food. 









Symptoms Of Diarrhoea


  • Frequent and watery stool is the main symptom of diarrhoea.
  • Due to heavy loss of water from the body the patient feeels intense thirst.
  • Muscle cramp occurs sometimes.
  • Mucus is discharged with stool.
  • The patient becomes thinner. Eyes look sunken and deep.
  • Patient may fall unconscious in severe cases.
  • If not treated properly the patient dies.
  • Dehydration occurs due to frequent passes of watery stool.




Dehydration


Dehydration is the lack of water in our body. Human body consists of about seventy percent of total volume of body. Wate plays a basic and vital role in regulating all the body functions. The following symptoms are seen in dehydration.





  • Frequent and severe thirst.
  • Decreased urination.
  • Eyes look sunken and deep.
  • Declined blood pressure.
  • Weakness and fatigue.
  • If any part of body is pressed with finger tip, a deep mark remains persistent for several minutes.
  • Fainting and even death if not - hydrated in time.
